MONOKROM: Melodic Techno Band

Founded in 2023 by four friends from Berlin—all trained jazz musicians—MONOKROM was born from a desire to bring live music back to nightclubs. They perform melodic techno, breakbeat, and trip-hop in continuous live sets, blurring the lines between techno and pop, band and DJ, concert and rave—delivering both goosebumps and a trance-like state.

Powerful basslines and electronic drum aesthetics meet high-level instrumental and vocal sophistication. Angelic vocals blend with dystopian synth arpeggios. Each show is unique, tapping into the spirit of rave culture—an energy that infects the dancefloor and fosters unity—featuring a 100% original repertoire influenced by artists such as Monolink, Moderat, Massive Attack, Ben Klock, and Stephan Bodzin.

MONOKROM has performed at festivals including Fusion (Seebühne Stage, 2026), Nation of Gondwana, Moyn, and Zurück zu den Wurzeln, as well as at clubs like Sisyphos, SO36, Knust, and MS Stubnitz. They have also been featured on broadcasts by Sunshinelive, MDR, and ByteFM.
